About Us
The National Memorial Concert, Remembering 9/11 is a commemorative concert that honors America's past and celebrates the future through music. Carnegie Hall, located in New York City, is one of the most iconic and famous performance venues in the world.
September 11, 2001 was one of the most tragic days in our nation's history. It influenced the world. You remember where you were and what you were doing that day. Yet most high school students were not even born when September 11 happened. This opportunity allows students to learn about the events of that day in a meaningful and personal way.

Our hope is that students will better appreciate our history, connect with the past and with others around them, find unity through music, and have lasting interactions with other students from all over the country.
​
To accomplish that, we bring in world-renowned choral directors and accompanists, select top choir talent from across the nation, and invite survivors and first responders from September 11, 2001 to be part of the event.
​
We don't just want students to say, "I sang at Carnegie" - we want students to have such an incredible experience that they can say, "I sang at Carnegie, and it changed my life!"
